There are lots of families needing Christmas help in 2011. Many people lost their jobs and have been struggling in 2011 and they need Christmas help. However, they usually have limited funding and rely on donations. Many of them have Christmas stores where needy and low income families can shop for Christmas gifts for free. Again, we have talked to churches about their Christmas help programs, donations and stores and donations are down this year as well because lots of people cannot afford to donate and need help themselves.
